We are learning about idioms!

Idioms for kids are word combinations that kids use which have a different meaning than the literal meanings of each word.

5 Hot blaze on thin ice- (the blaze is going to malt the ice.)

6 Pigs can fly-(it's not going to happen.)

7 Skating on thine ice-(your being rediculis.)

8 The twinkle eye- (your happy.)

9 Pain in the but-(you are really eratating.)

10 I got thunder thise-(big as thise.)

11 Raining cats and dogs-(heavy rain.)

12 Draw the certins-(pull the certins open.)

13 butterflys in my tummy-(wored about somthing.)

14 Hard in up-(tough in up.)
