Jax ‘n’ chips
Purpose: Thank You Note
Dear Jax
Thank you for coming to Rangikura School to share your opera show.
My favourite bit was when Nemo was really sad and out of nowhere came the salesmen and showed everybody some of his position. And Nemo had an idea of getting one of his position.
I loved your show so much I want you guys to do another show.
Yours sincerely

My art work
This is my art work that I did with my teacher Miss Hills. I learnt my Mihi it was a rough start but I tried and tried and I got it. And I got a little help from my teacher.
We also were learning about Whanaungatanga and Manaakitanga. Whanaungatanga means a sense of belonging to your group. Manaakitanga means how you act and how your friends or family act.
My teacher Miss Hills took a photo of me and cut half of it out. My class drew the other side of their face(including me) After that the people who have done drawing their face the get to chose a color to dye their face.
The photo with the korus represents my (whanau) family. The two big korus are my mum and dad. The two small korus are me and my little sister. The other small ones are my big brother and sister.
The big poster on the very top of my paper is my identity worksheet. That worksheet represents my personality and my culture. It shows you everything about me and my (whanau) family take a look.

Step Seven: When step six is finished carefully push the paper strips together until the the inside is a square.
Step eight: Sellotape all the corners to keep the paper in its place.
Step nine: To make the sides of the box. Fold the upsidedown strips back over the base.
Step Ten: Cut 4 strips of paper 24 cm long and 1cm wide.

Step twelve: Grab the same strip of paper and weave it through the 4 sides you made.
Step thirteen: sellotape the corners to keep that strip srate.
Step fourteen: Then you have to repeat step 12 and 13 for the last three strips of paper that you have left over.
Step fifteen: To finish your awesome box make sure if any strips are poking out go back and fix it it's not a rush just take your time.
